Base Records were one of the independent retailers selling Vinyl releases from U2R Records (Label) and so chose to make use of our design capabilities for their advertising and stationery. A promotional offshoot from Base was Gettin’ Funky, a club and venue promotion featuring primarily funky and soulful house mostly backed with live percussion. We have produced flyers for this promotion from the outset and they continue to operate today.
