It should be fairly obvious the importance of a logo for any company or promotion.

Your logo says everything about you in one moment whether it be spectacular or subtle. We tailor logos to your specific needs, often as part of a cross media package which ensures your logo appears at its best on letterheads, business cards, vehicles, on the web or embroidered on a t-shirt.

With our broad experience of varying media, different versions of your logo may be produced, optimised for print, large format display and so on. In some cases a single artwork format may be suitable across all media if for example bold fonts with minimal colour variants are used with simple graphical shapes. Of course you may prefer a rendered three dimensional logo and we can advise the best way to manage such images which may be substantial in size.

The general logo commissioning process is as follows:

Initial discussion

The process commences with a discussion about what you like, going through examples of what you find appealing and fitting for your needs. This may be sufficient to progress with the creation of a ‘scratchpad’ however more information might be useful such as the nature of the market you are in. A club promoter is going to require something completely different from an accountant !
Once we have enough initial information, we move to stage two …

Scratchpad (Drafts compilation if you prefer)

Now we have an idea of what you like, your customer profile and a knowledge of your market, we’ll create a page filled with logo ideas, colour schemes, fonts and so on to act as a catalyst for shortlisting – see something you like but perhaps in a different colour? we’ll progress the design from there or continue ‘sketching’ until there’s a spark.

Final drafting

The spark is now a flame and it’s a matter of fine tuning your logo and producing it in the range of formats you require. We like to produce both landscape and portrait versions of a logo where appropriate for use in every situation. If your logo was very tall for example, it would probably appear fairly small in relation to a cluster of landscape logos and so on.

Deployment

Now you have your logo, you’ll probably want this formatted into stationery or as vehicle graphics, poster, flyers and so on.
